This is the image I kept from that day, 10 years ago.
A day of horror. A day of death.
Yet...this man chose how he would die. He would not die in fear. He would not die in despair.
His leap is almost a leap of faith. A leap to a better place.
I remember almost everything about that day. Though it did not strike me directly, it did in my heart. I'll never forget that day...the horror but also the heroism...cowardness but also courage...devil but also God...
May that day never be repeated again.
On the 10th anniversary, my thoughts are with the families of the victims but also with a country that learned how to surpass adversity and how to be more tolerant with others thoughts.
